Congratulations to Ruby Tillson who won indoor pentathlon gold for University of Connecticut in the Big East Championships in Chicago yesterday with a new PB score of 3933 points. 60mH 8.63 / HJ 1.70m (SB)/ SP 9.94m (SB)/ LJ 5.53m / 800m 2:17.77s Well done Ruby!

South of England SW 400m gold for Steph Okoro in a PB of 53.76s, second on the club all time list. U20W long jump silver for Alicia Fairmaner. Well done all who competed this weekend.

Club athletes won five medals at the @SEAACompetition Indoor Age Group Champs at Lee Valley at the weekend. Sam Johnson & Ameer Salaam won U17M shot gold & silver, U15G silvers for Siobhan Etemadi (60mH) & Millie Cook (300m) and U17M TJ silver for Emanuel Iwuchukwu

There were 2 individual and 2 team victories for club athletes at R4 Essex XC League at Colchester’s Hilly Fields course. Findlay McLaren & Sam Horsley led the U17M to victory & the league title. Kate O'Neill won the SW race & the senior men won their race on countback.

Unfortunately, the pitch has not passed the pitch inspection and tomorrow’s fixture has been postponed. The game will now be played on Tuesday 13th January, kicking off at 19:45. Any supporters who have purchased an online ticket and are unable to attend the rearranged fixture are eligible for a full refund. There were nine medals, five from individuals and four from teams, at the Essex Cross Country Championships on Saturday which were held in bright conditions with temperatures close to freezing at the hilly Gloucester Park, Basildon course.

James Connor won his third successive his Essex Masters title to lead home the Havering AC M40 squad to team silver at the Essex Veterans Cross Country Championships held at Epping Forest on Saturday while Ginte Bailey also struck individual gold in the W40 event.
