To commemorate #HolocaustMemorialDay & the 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau the Children’s Team ran 3 visits for local primary schools today alongside Jackie who shared her family connection on the subject.

On Friday 15th November, Hawes Down is supporting Children in Need. Children may come to school in their own clothes with something spotty. Donation buckets will be in both playgrounds before school. Please help us raise as much money as we can. Thank you.

@HawesDown Reception classes turned detective today. BOG BABY IS MISSING!!!!! The children loved exploring the crime scene today. They looked at the clues and made missing posters to try and help find him. #EYFS #Curiosity #Communication#language

Everyone @HawesDown is looking forward to welcoming back our Y1 to Y6 pupils next Wednesday, 4th September. School will start at the normal time. Pupils need to arrive between 8:35 and 8:45.

Our @HawesDown Reception pupils have been learning about creatures under the sea. This week they visited the amazing London Aquarium to see the sea life. They had a brilliant day! #understandingtheworld #EYFS

Year 3 and Oberon had a great time at Bore Place Farm today. It was great to experience what a fully working dairy looks like and also had the organic produce being grown. The children asked really great questions and learnt about how important UK farming is. #fieldtofork
