@Jack_John_Mark You had it within 3 points and needed a stop. Then you were down by 6.

@SkersNews 4 players on defense is key to decreasing your foul numbers

Shocker Iowa gets the benefit of refs vs Nebraska.
Arbitrary Analytics@arbitanalytics
Only 8 teams have committed fewer than 7 fouls in an NCAA Tournament game in college basketball history. Iowa committed 7 fouls against Nebraska in the Sweet 16
English

Last comment from me on the fouls in the Sweet 16.
Before yesterday, lowa was 162nd in the nation in fewest fouls per game.
Nebraska was 8th.
That's why the comment, "But Nebraska only had 3 fouls!" is irrelevant.

I speak for ALL Creighton fans when I say, thank you Iowa

@CabbagePatch39 Also, like the 24 hour idea. I think I will adopt that moving forward. Smart
English

Well, gave myself the 24 hour rule before saying much on here.
Listen, I dislike Iowa just as much as anyone else. But hats off to them, seriously. It is NOT easy to come back from 10 points down in a sweet 16 game where Nebraska was so dominant.
If you want to win against a team like that, you can’t make the mistakes we did the last few minutes. To me, it really is as simple as that.
It hurts to end a season this way. But this is a season that no one will ever be able to take from us. We witnessed greatness time and time again. And that doesn’t end here. Nothing but love for Fred and the boys. The future in Lincoln is bright🏀 #GBR forever.
Also, let’s lead by example. Rivalries are supposed to be fun. They are not supposed to be an excuse to be a shitty human being to another person. You can dislike someone’s sport team and still treat the person with respect.
English

@tegets Ask Grok how many times a team shot 24 of 32 shots in the second half from 3 and the percentage will be smaller.
Also, you had 3 fouls in the first 19 minutes of the second half. It was even both ways, Iowa just played better in the second half.
English

@cyst8t @RohrOfTheCrowd Yep. That’s what you do when you play your rival
English

@HawkeyeKoolaid @RohrOfTheCrowd So you’re saying Iowa made it their “Super Bowl” when they played Iowa State? Interesting
English

One out of a thousand? No, Hawks are one in a million. It’s great to be a Hawkeye!

What a joke. Please investigate this.
English

@ch4christian @BoardGeniuses Totally fair point. My argument is that relative to this game, not a real foul disparity until Nebraska had to foul at the end. Fun, spirited conversation. Bummer one team had to lose. Glad mine won, but respect Nebraska. Take care
English

@HawkeyeKoolaid @BoardGeniuses One foul called in a half, 8 in a game, in which that same team averaged 19 a game all year
English

@NebraskaDog34 Love is bigger than a game. Reach out if you need someone to talk to. For real.
English

@JackMitchellLNK Love that you love your team that much. Respect.
English

Congrats to them. They did it. Turned the orgy of joy into one of the worst nights of my sports life that won’t subside anytime soon.
