@LadyLaurk Yikes! I’m so sorry! That’s so messed up of them to do that to you.

When you find out an oshi you like/referenced in a rap you wrote blocked you, but also find out that a take they have is kind of outlandish.
Per Windhover's post,
No one is weaponizing AI against people.
No one is forcing anyone to use AI.
If I've ever used AI, it's never been under the guise of trying to "weaponize" it against libs or those who have differing views than myself.
Those are mental gymnastics I personally don't have the time or energy for.
All I've ever thought was:
"This could help grammatically shape up my resume"
Or
"Maybe this will help sharpen up the image I've already made by hand"
Or
"Maybe this would be a good concept to send to an actual artist who I would love to have my model made by, who isn't going to demonize me for creating an image to start from, or who isn't going to block me due to vague TOS policies of "harmful or hateful content" and then work with an artist in their artstyle to make it even better!"
Those are the ONLY thoughts I think about and NONE of them include those who share differing political takes than myself.
However, I think it's crazy to believe that this is associated with a single side of people trying to "own libs".
That thought is so far removed from reality for me personally.
And when you block someone, there's now no longer an opportunity for the open dialog you COULD have had with the side you're making claims about.
Which all seems rather hypocritical to me.
Especially, since you've never interacted with or spoken to me before.
Would have enjoyed the opportunity to talk with you @acewindhover further.
Now neither of us will never know.
Thank you for serving the country.
And thank you for letting me know that you only service your own opinion.

Alright. I don't know what time I'll be getting home after visiting my mom in the hospital, but I do want to stream today. By recommendation of @HawkressVT I will be starting Black Desert Online while I'm in-between challenge runs. I'll shoot for 7 pm EST, see you there!

I personally feel like your post on the whole thing was some of the most thoughtful and profound insights that I'd seen. "Heaven isn't high school" was inspired. I don't think anyone who has their heart in the right place would say that you burned bridges, but instead that you did your best to let Holy Spirit work through you to light a fire in others' hearts.

Jason served two deployments in Syria and has been home for five years, but the nightmares never stopped. Every night around 4 AM he wakes drenched in sweat, convinced he's back in Raqqa. His brother urged professional help; Jason insisted he'd handle it himself.
Last April, his elderly neighbor passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind her Rottweiler.
Jason took him in and named him Bear. The first night Jason had a nightmare, Bear climbed onto the bed unprompted - eighty-six pounds across Jason's chest. Jason didn't thrash. He just breathed. Bear stayed for three hours. It happens every night now, like clockwork.
Jason's brother recorded it and showed their VA group counselor, who watched and said: "That's clinical pressure therapy. That's what certified PTSD dogs are trained to do for tens of thousands of dollars."
Bear never had a single day of formal training. He just knew what an American veteran needed before he did.
