This week we held the sold-out Public Country House Conference at the V&A after a great online symposium last month. Safe to say, running an event on this scale put me out of my comfort zone after 4 years of pretty solitary study for my PhD & I'm so proud of how it came together.

At our weekly team meeting today, there was a discussion re cutting a cake for work as part of a project. This pic randomly came up today as a memory when we relaunched @AstonHallMuseum back in 2009 after a major capital refurb! That was a great cake 😊 & a wonderful surprise 🎈
