Fun fact: if you start to feel a fever coming on, you shouldn’t immediately take a fever reducer. The fever is your body attempting to kill whatever is trying to make you sick by making your body inhospitable to it, and if you cut your fever short with medication then you’re making yourself more susceptible in the long run. Your best bet is to let the fever run for a day or two before taking anything for it. Yes you’ll feel bad, and tired, but that’s kind of the point. You need to rest and stay hydrated. After that, feel free to take a fever reducer or visit a doctor. Of course, this doesn’t apply to those that may be immunocompromised.

I have seen a lot of tweets lately with people unhappy with commissions and yes, there are a lot of black sheep’s in the art community unfortunately. But I wanted to say: I LOVE ALL THE COMMISSIONS I MADE AND ALL THE ARTISTS! I did commissions through vgen or here on twitter, artists I followed for a while or new artists I just discovered. I don’t wanna invalidate those bad experiences, but remind us: good artists exist! however us humans often unfortunately only focus and remember the bad things. This is fun I’m not playing it too much until I get my cleaning kit for it but I like it. So far I’ve learned it’s very different from woodwinds. The embrasure is very strange and not at all like with a clarinet. But that’s exactly what I wanted, a new experience. So far so good
