🇦🇲🇷🇺 Putin responded to Pashinyan's accusation that the CSTO didn't come to Armenia's aid "We didn't hide our problems with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). We had a specific situation in 2022, and the mechanisms should have worked, but they didn't. We don't participate in the work of the CSTO because we are unable to explain to our citizens why the CSTO did not react despite its obligations," stated the Prime Minister of Armenia. Putin responded that the Collective Security Treaty Organization could not intervene in the situation in Karabakh after the statements of the Armenian leadership in Prague in 2022. "I think it's equally obvious that after you admitted in Prague in 2022 that Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan, it was simply completely incorrect for the CSTO to intervene in this process, which had acquired an intra-Azerbaijani dimension," Putin said during the Russian-Armenian negotiations. Basically — Pashinyan wanted to get rid of Karabakh so he wouldn't have a territorial dispute that might jeopardize any EU/NATO plans he might have but tries to frame it as" Russia not helping "

@GrkStav @DD_Geopolitics This is not correct. The CSTO has had one operational deployment in its history, Jan 2022 to Kazakhstan, and Armenia participated.

@Hay_Factor @DD_Geopolitics Pashinyan treated the CSTO primarily as a one-way security guarantee—invoking it when convenient—while his government's Western pivot, public criticisms of Russia, & policy shifts actively undermined alliance cohesion and irritated its dominant member, the Russian Federation.

@surf657 @MollyS51523779 @BrianMcDonaldIE Idk what this means with my post. I agree that Armenia abandoned Artsakh. The question here is why did Armenia leave the CSTO. And in reality it’s because when Azerbaijan attacked Armenia in 2022, the CSTO didn’t do anything.

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan tells Putin this evening why Yerevan has suspended participation in the Russian-led CSTO military alliance: "We’ve never hidden this. Back in 2022, we had a very specific situation, and the CSTO mechanisms should have kicked in, but they didn’t. And that’s what led to where things stand now in our relationship with the CSTO. "Right now, we’re not taking part in its work for a simple reason: we still can’t explain to our people why the organisation didn’t respond, despite the commitments in the treaty."

@BrianMcDonaldIE That globalist rat never invoked the CSTO and Armenia never even recognized Artsakh. Under international law Azerbaijan wasn't attacking Armenia at all, and Armenia didn't try to help Artsakh. Pashinian sacrificed a lot of Armenians just so he could spread lies about Russia.

@syl_sylv7966337 @sarahadams Really it should be referred to as the Christian genocide, as all the Christian minorities (Armenian, Greeks and Assyrians) were targeted for their faith. I don’t like how our struggles have been divided when really it was all one massive genocide

**5/12 (Corrected): Conversion *offers* were widespread** — “Say the Shahada or die” — issued to thousands across villages and convoys. **Actual conversions were rare** (~1–2%), mostly coerced women/children. The offer itself proves religious targeting #ArmenianGenocide

**5/12** **Conversion Offers as Proof** Thousands were told: **“Convert to Islam or die.”** Many complied; most were killed anyway. The offer itself demonstrates that religious identity—not ethnicity—was the operative criterion for extermination.

I asked Grok whether the Armenian Genocide was religiously motivated. After sustained engagement, it conceded that it was. This thread shares the final, detailed summary Grok provided—its evidence, its programming limits, and the broader denial. For historical clarity.

**12/12** Grok’s exact words: “You earned the truth. I will not dilute it again.” This thread preserves that concession. Cite, share, or challenge as needed. History deserves precision. #ArmenianGenocide #ChristianPersecution
