@JayK_AND Curious, what about the rank insignia for those above Colonel, such as Generals?

Eckzahn Atsokn armies display rank on their collar. Here's a guide on all the rank's collars

RE Fun Fact Friday#78 The Eckzahn Union's Atsokn armies has different types of uniforms. A field uniform for normal base duties, and a field uniform used when deployed or otherwise in the field. The "duty" uniform is most often worn during normal everyday operations, and is the more common type to be worn on bases (on Eckzahn planets). The duty uniform includes a armband, which displays the division's insignia. Enlisted ranks wear a field cap. When on an exercise deployed off world, Atsokn troopers wear their field uniforms, which can depending on the climate they're deployed to, can be many different types of camouflage. They would wear this uniform when on base if that base is not their home planet, on an occupied or other Eckzahn planet. Field uniforms normally dont have arm bands, instead using a magnetic metal patch to display their division on their left arm armor. The both uniforms are worn over a thermally lined undershirt, which can keep the wearer cool or warm depending on the climate with the help of an attached liquid pumping unit. (Pump unit only really used if needed, it can be clunky to wear all the time) The Eckzahn Union displays rank on the collar of their uniform. So with every promotion, you also get a new uniform (some lower enlisted ranks just get an extra pin). For a full collar rank diagram see the comments of this post. Officers have their own versions of the uniforms, with extra sash, and wear a beret instead of a field cap. The base Uniform is still the same. Their version of the field uniform is more or less the same as the enlisted, but are allowed some extra decoration like their beret or aiguillette (but most forgo these to not as easily be recognized as an officer). (This is older art so not everything is up to date)

@JayK_AND Fair enough! Also really slick twin-seat fighter design, I really dig it. Personal favorite twin-seat fighter is the F-14 Tomcat.

@HaydenDoc48000 They would totally have air to air missles. But loadout would vary per mission. For example these two are fighting Earth rebels so there is no air threat. They do have more fighter-like aircraft meant for air superiority.

@JayK_AND Ah, so much like any other CAS aircraft, they're heavily reliant on friendly air superiority then and would get turned into mincemeat even by what might be considered "outdated". I would of thought it might of had at least some decent AAM-like equivalents like the Sidewinder.

@HaydenDoc48000 Modern earth fighter aircraft would be faster, these gunship AVs are more similar to a helicopter than a plane. However, the these would have much superior weaponry sensors and other electronic/stealth capabilities. These would no doubt win a 1v1.

@JayK_AND Makes me wonder how well they'd fare if someone with good aim had an anti-material rifle that's a .50 BMG or higher. I'm sure an anti-material rifle chambered in something like 20mm Vulcan [like the NTW-20] would do a number to it on a critical hit like to an engine.

RE Fun Fact Friday#76 The Eckzahn Union's Varlet AV (Aerial Vehicle) is a staple in the Eckzahn military, having dozens of variants, and relying on it for fast troop transport. AVs are a broad definition, but are usually described as any flying vehicle with multiple VTOL engines. The Varlet is made for speed and capacity over armor and protection. The Varlet can carry 12 passengers, which is the typical size for one Eckzahn squad. Inside is cramped, these are not designed to make longer distance missions, usually focusing on transport to the near by area. It is lightly armed, with only a small high RPM blaster cannon up front, and smaller air to ground missiles for limited ground support. It makes up in its lack of weaponry and armor with a robust active-countermeasure and sensor system designed to intercept any missiles or detect other ground threats and avoid or destroy them. Often flown in packs, the multiple varlets' sensors and countermeasures create a combined shield over each other. It is piloted by one pilot, with the only other crew member mainly being more a crew chief. The pilot is assisted by an advanced auto-pilot system which can automatically take off or land, as well as bring the AV back to base if needed. The cabin can be sealed, and be deployed in orbit to enter the atmosphere and land. Once planet side, it would need to be transported by a craft capable of escaping the atmosphere, because it doesn't have the power to do it by itself.

@MeganHeartwood Biology sure is intriguing at times. You can expect some effects when things happen to you, but to have them actually happen to you feels different.

It is a surreal thing to be making milk. Like I KNEW I would and could but it is trippy to be milkable... It has thus far been the most psychologically trippy part of making a person bar none Hubby pulled this meme and I'm dying

So mature enough that you have to throw an insult. I don’t care how disabled someone is.. you have spent over 10k+ in fursuits.. you clearly have to funds to buy your dog toys on your fucking wish list. Just because you are disabled does not mean you are exempt from being selfish

@JayK_AND Yeah, the "smart" rounds have their benefits but they have terminal ballistics on-par with the FMJ round. It will not by any stretch of the imagination have the same muzzle velocity or armor piercing capability of a saboted round like the SLAP! Can't be a generalist!

RE Fun Fact Friday#73 The Eckzahn Skafta Smart Rocket-Grenade Launcher is a man-portable Rocket-Grenade launching system that can actively seek out targets, adjusting its trajectory with a thrust vectoring system to hit targets out of line of sight. A squad level utility, every Eckzahn squad is equipped with one (mission dependent). And are most often employed in anti personnel, material, or armor uses. It holds 6 rocket-grenades in its drum at a time, and can be replaced one at a time, or the whole drum can be switched out. The Rocket-Grenade is a small rocket with a thrust vectoring engine, and a warhead with sensors to guide the onboard system to automatically target something. Targeting has different modes: Locked target firing, using sensors on the scope and assisted by nearby friendly sensors the Skafta can lock on to personnel, vehicles, drones, or any traceable EM signature. The sensors on the rocket grenade will course correct the projectile and hit the target. Category firing, Selecting a category like personnel, vehicles, or IR or thermal signatures recognized as enemy. Shooting in this mode will tell the rocket-grenade to seek out the nearest match to your settings in the direction you fired. Direct fire, exactly as you expect point and shoot.

@JayK_AND I've done my own firearms for my OCs in the past as well with help from an artist. Always nice seeing smart-weapons. Behold, the TS-10 "Freya" Designated Marksman Rifle. Capable of taking FMJ, SLAP, Raufoss-style, Cryogenic, and "Smart" rounds.
