@RNZteresacowie @edchatNZ @InsightRNZ I think they are both a distraction and part of everyday life. I think it’s important for us to teach balance with the use of devices so we take advantage of them but also know when to put them down.

@SmithcCameron @LBsPE @NatashaLowNZ Hey Cam, we use an “ask first” policy and the learners usually work with that pretty well. Nothing works 100% in tackling the distraction they can cause. Education around how we manage our device use,when and where it helps with learning and when it doesn’t etc
