For the first time in 2026, Grummz has promised Em-8ER backers some news, claiming he's "never been more excited for the game in a long time."

Why would he stop crowdfunding during a difficult time? It's his livelihood! 3. There are plenty of kickstarts like AoC+Elyria and it's safe to say EM8ER is just as good!

Name a dev that promised to have a kickstarter about 8 years ago as a carrot to get to 60k, but got 600k and still hasn't done it, and also took 2 years off and continued to crowdfund and didn't say anything till he got caught, who hasn't delivered what he promised almost a decade ago, or nuked his forums etc.
