But should def consider adv state & set play chars as a good intermediate boost. Diddy, Mario, Lucina, Kaz, Luigi, Samus, etc. etc. basically most of the good roster

Stale subject but After considerable consideration, the best starter char is def whoever they find the most enjoyable. NEXT best choice isn't Mario/Lucina. It's R.O.B. by a long shot. Broken char w/ rewarding entry & plenty of mastery HMs to GnW or a Spacie
