@MattLeinartQB Sad state of affairs from the left Matt. These are the same people that celebrate men in women’s sports.

If I’m Belgium I’m refusing to play the game. You can’t change the rules because a fat orange paedophile tells you it’s his tournament and he decides who plays. Utterly fucking ridiculous

Pathetic that the USA (population 350 million) had to get President Trump to beg FIFA to allow Balogun to play against Belgium (population 11 million). The Americans proving yet again they are a nation of wimps and cry babies. Hope Belgium pump them.

@JohnFaerseth That’s the point the refs decision was no foul. Some idiot up in the VAR decided he wanted to look at it in slo mo then Radios down.

It is irrelevant whether Balogun deserved a red card. Referees make stupid decisions all the time. If personal diplomacy and power can override decisions and the USA wins, it means outcomes are being decided off the field. That's match-fixing, and the end of sports.

@RGIII You’d think if the Belgians had any balls they would use that as motivation. But no in true EU fashion soft as hell.

FIFA got it right by suspending Folarin Balogun’s Red Card under Article 27. Belgium’s protesting the decision isn’t about the integrity of the game. It’s about getting an advantage over the USA. If it was about the integrity of the game, they would be championing Balogun having his Red card suspended because it was improper use of the VAR system and not a Red card offense. Where were the appeals when Cristiano Ronaldo got his 3 game red card ban suspended and reduced to a 1 game ban on a friendly so he could play this entire World Cup? DR Congo and Uzbekistan didn’t protest Cristiano Ronaldo eligibility to play. They played Portugal at full strength. If Belgium doesn’t want to play now because FIFA made the right call and the USA has Folarin Balogun back in the lineup, then THAT’S WEAK. They don’t deserve to win. Put the ball down and play. Don’t pick up your ball and go home.

Don't let them convince you Paige Bueckers is a more efficient scorer than Caitlin Clark. PPS (Points Per Shot Taken) Caitlin Clark - 1.358 Paige Bueckers - 1.345 That doesn't even take into consideration the differences in how they are guarded.

Are you insane, or do you just not understand football? A red card is a red card. This isn’t MAGA politics where every disaster gets rebranded as a historic victory. Maybe stick to cheering for Trump’s “perfect” decisions and leave football to people who know the rules. ⚽🤡
Gunther Eagleman™@GuntherEagleman

Stop crying for Gods sake… Folarin Balogun should have never got a red card in the first place

Hey Florian @balogun , hear me out my brother in football⚽️ this is not about whether the red card was right or wrong anymore. That debate will never end. This is about the integrity of football. If I were in your boots, I’d refuse to play against Belgium. Not because I think you’re a bad player or because you asked for any of this, i think you are great, but because politics has now entered the game. A President of the United States publicly intervened, FIFA softened your suspension, and UEFA says FIFA crossed a red line. If you step onto that pitch, fair or unfair, millions of people will forever question whether you should have been there. Don’t forget that your career is in Europe, the home of the world’s biggest clubs, the highest level of football, and fans who treat this sport almost like a religion. They care deeply about the integrity of the game. If it were me, I wouldn’t risk carrying this controversy for the rest of your career over a single match. One act of principle today could earn more respect than a hundred goals tomorrow. Be a hero, don’t get branded as a corrupt loser, fans all over the world will remember your choice. Forever. One game can change all your career and life, choose wisely.

@Sunny083193 A great coach would figure the system to fit the personnel. This isn’t college where you recruit. Steph White will never be a great coach. I agree CC is better off elsewhere and that’s not a slap against anybody it’s just obvious.

Caitlin’s style of play, and Stephanie’s coaching don’t fit together. It’s like oil and water. If we had a better coach who actually understood that we have 3 first team all WNBA players on our starting lineup, we would lose like 10 games a year max. Imagine the things a good coach can do with them.
Sports Patriot@SportsPatriotUS

Anyone arguing that Caitlin Clark's style of play hurts the Indiana Fever is also unknowingly admitting that the Fever coaching staff is too inexperienced to coach the greatest offensive creator in basketball.

My problem with billionaires is that they were given billions of dollars for free without having to work for it. All of this nice stuff around us? We would have more of it if the billionaires stopped hoarding all the free money they got.

The only way I’d feel good about a USA win tonight is if Balogun sits. Trump has tarnished the World Cup.

If the US men's soccer team were smart, they would not let Balogun play tonight, regardless of Trump's interference to get his red card lifted. Otherwise no matter how well they play, it won't be acknowledged.

Do not eat these. Discard immediately if you recognize any of these in yours or a loved one’s kitchen, it’s the easiest act of love you can do for them today. A French study in PLOS Medicine examined the impact of emulsifiers (food additives used to improve texture and extend shelf life) on cancer risk. Researchers analyzed data from 92,000 adults over nearly 7 years and found that certain emulsifiers significantly increased cancer risk: Mono & diglycerides of fatty acids (E471)—found in processed baked goods, margarine, and ice cream—were linked to: 15% higher risk of overall cancer 24% higher risk of breast cancer 46% higher risk of prostate cancer Carrageenan (E407 & E407a)—a thickening agent in dairy alternatives, deli meats, and plant-based products—was linked to: 32% higher risk of breast cancer. Cancer is complex and multifactorial, but one thing is certain: the food we eat plays a massive role in shaping our long-term health. Cutting out ultra-processed foods and focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods is one of the most powerful steps you can take to reduce disease risk. Thank you to my friend Vani Hari for this image + bringing awareness to this critical issue.

@MetamateDaz Do to some poor choices you likely are. If you are paying $10 for eggs stop shopping at Trader Joe’s and Whole Paycheck. You bought in to the whole Barrack Obama “just go get loans” mania. That was stupid. 2 years in a JuCO drastically reduces the cost of an education.

Boomers love to say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $3,000 rent and $10 for eggs You didn’t graduate with $100K in debt and no job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. We’re drowning.
