We can announce that Gerhard Struber has been relieved of his duties as Bristol City Head Coach. Roy Hodgson will take charge of the Men’s First Team until the end of the season, while the club will task the incoming Sporting Director with appointing a permanent Head Coach for the 2026/27 campaign. The club’s recent performances have not met expectations and therefore Struber and Assistant Head Coach Bernd Eibler will leave with immediate effect.

@MillwallDan85 Apparently we appealed and it was rejected. Tbh with you I saw it as a red and I don’t think it made any difference to our result, we were dog shite. It sounds like it did your result though. I would be livid if we missed out over something like that. Hope you get 2nd

So Chelsea made secret/undisclosed payments (over £47m) and get a paltry £ fine for billionaire owners. Hull City missed a few payments under EFL P&S rules and get hammered with an initial 3 windows of non £ trading! The haves and the have nots. #hcafc

Interesting that in the Everton points deduction verdict the Premier League said “A financial penalty for a club that enjoys the support of a wealthy owner is not a sufficient penalty” and that “the requirements of deterrence, vindication of compliant clubs, and the protection of the integrity of the sport demand a sporting sanction in the form of a points deduction’. Presumably the Chelsea fine (which ultimately is just a deduction from what billion dollar Clearlake will pay to billionaire Abramovich from the £150m held back at the deal date) is then neither punishment, a deterrent or protecting the integrity of the sport? If I was an Everton or Forest fan would not be happy with this outcome.

@BradleyDenton7 @lillmatty90 But with Millar at LWB you have 1 player out of position, 2 with a back 4. But we’re much less of a threat in a back 3? So I guess you sacrifice one player out of position. I’m still not sure who that is? Do you mean if Coyle is injured? Just always think we look better in a 4

@lillmatty90 @HcafcT If you play a back 4 with what we have available half of that back 4 are out of position . How much threat are you getting from our full backs when one of them is a centre back and the other is on his weaker side?.
