Greenard trade and Bobby O reunion would go a long way in how we view the offseason. Idc much about Pick 47 tbh. (If that’s the compensation to Minnesota.) What are the chances whoever we draft there will be good as Greenard anyway. And it’s not long term capital anyhow.

I’m not sure why Colts fans are so certain that we are going to get or even going after Greenard. There is so merit to that other than fan talk. Ballard has his guys with Key and that one 4th stringer. Just how it is, I’ve seen this happen before.

After the first wave of free agency, the #Colts still need to add a starting edge rusher, though the remaining options aren’t very encouraging.

At this point Colts to player on the board has to be linebacker. But I know Ballard will pick a DE he says he had a top 15 grade on than can only stop the run and power rush

On Colts and Trey Hendrickson, per sources: IND made what it hoped was a competitive offer. Colts were in the mix as of Tues. After the Maxx Crosby trade dissolved, Ravens' offer turned things upside down. Colts wanted to be closer to $25M/year. Baltimore’s deal is for $28M/yr.

Sign him at the end of last season and bet he's going to succeed but you pay him much less. And you approach Pittman to restructure his deal so you have cap space

Both Alec Pierce and Pittman could not co-exist on their current deals. That math just did not work. Something had to give.

@jigthedrummer @Trey___67 @HolderStephen I didn't say trade. If you resign Pierce at the end of last season, you're not paying 29 million a year like we are now and you restructure Pittman so you have both on the roster and plenty of cap.

@HeMansBrother @Trey___67 @HolderStephen You can't make trades after week 8 hence the trade deadline. Trades are unavailable until the new league year starts in March. It also avoids some of the dead money hit against the cap we would incur by just releasing him. IT WAS A GOOD AND NECESSARY TRADE.

@HeMansBrother @HolderStephen Meh, don’t think we could’ve gotten much more than a 5th rounder, if we had a competent GM maybe, Ballard Sucks but this is a move that was needed, we can have Pierce/Downs/Rookie WR/Dullin and Warren of course, im happy with that
