Ideally, we should be using technology to understand why cancer is occurring and solving that without harming the rest of the body - however this requires mountains of real world evidence and novel therapeutics

However it's still poison, which is what causes all the nasty side effects of chemo (ie. hair loss). The fundamental logic here is we're going to pump poison inside someone and pray that it kills the cancer before it kills the person
