Measles cases continue to rise in the US. Make sure you and your loved ones are vaccinated. Two doses of the MMR vaccine are 97% effective in preventing measles and protecting against serious illness. Talk with your health care provider about getting vaccinated.

Highly pathogenic avian flu, or bird flu, has been confirmed in the Emerald Necklace. Risk of human infection is currently low. As always, please do not feed, touch, or remove birds from Boston parks. Report sick, injured, or dead birds to mass.gov/reportbirds or call 311.

Our EMTs and Paramedics answered the call around the clock during the blizzard, responding to roughly 700 medical emergencies on Monday and Tuesday. Despite whiteout conditions, deep snow, and challenges accessing homes, our members never slowed down.
