This is nowhere near as bad as some of the orders I’ve done. So funny thing I learned after replying FRLG. Apparently, Kanto has WAY more than 8 gyms. The ones we face in the games (and see in all other pokemon media) are the TOP 8 gyms in Kanto. You can't face the elite 4 unless you at least have the badges from those top 8.
