“There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state. The other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.”
— William Adama #SouthEast

@AkinyiMung20149 @RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu I get your point, but how many countries in the world can confidently say that, the west strengthened their armies?
The fight against internal terrorism must be done internally, America is mostly interested in military bases for their own interests
leadership of 🇳🇬 is complicit
English

@Hearus9 @RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu Tackling terrorism is a matter of national security and should not be politicized. We must put aside political debates and focus on protecting our country. Strengthening our army through partnerships with the West, especially the US, is the best way to combat terrorism.
English

@RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu Rather it will create more unrest and the influx of the Fulani terrorist to the southern part of Nigeria will increase
If the southern part of Nigeria has the autonomy to defend themselves by way of sovereignty, the north will have no choice but to tackle the issue of terrorism
English

@RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu And also predominantly residing in the East, South and west of Nigeria
Meaning that not every person affected in the barbaric act of terrorism in the north is Igbo.
As an Igbo man and Biafran throwing bombs in the north doesn’t solve my problem.

@Joe__Bassey India wants to use the Nigeria politicians style: Rice
Nigeria people: we need electricity, good road network, hospitals , good water supply, security
Government: we have distributed bags of rice to the less privileged Nigerians

@Greensreport1 @henruy8 It is not really up to France 🇫🇷 to decide for the people of Cameroon 🇨🇲
The AES prove that, if the youths of Cameroon decides that they want change in their country, change will happen

As long as France has a strong hold, the CFA will not leave. France will not make the same mistake after losing the Sahel. France needs Africa desperately.
The Sahel countries – Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger – left the CFA and expelled French troops. France couldn't stop them.
But Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Gabon? France still has a grip. The CFA is still there. French bases are still there.
France will fight to keep the CFA alive. They cannot afford to lose the rest of Africa.
But the tide is turning. The Sahel showed the way. Others will follow. It takes time and courage.
English

France has a massive hold on this.
Let me give you context.
Cameroon is a former French colony. France colonized Cameroon from 1916 to 1960. Even after independence, France never really left. They signed defence agreements. They maintained military bases. They kept control of Cameroon's economy.
France still controls Cameroon's currency. The CFA franc is printed in France. Its exchange rate is fixed to the euro. Cameroon's central bank is controlled by France. Half of its reserves sit in French Treasury accounts. Cameroon cannot print its own money or set its own monetary policy.
France still has military bases in Cameroon. French troops are stationed in Douala and Yaoundé. French intelligence operates freely. French special forces train Cameroonian soldiers. France can intervene anytime it wants.
Paul Biya has been in power since 1982. That's 44 years. He took over from Ahmadou Ahidjo, who was also a French ally. Now, at 92 years old, Biya is appointing his son Franck as Vice President – a position that was abolished in 1972 and is now suddenly being revived.
This is not democracy. This is monarchy. And France supports it. Because Biya is loyal. He protects French interests. He keeps Cameroon's oil, gas, timber, and minerals flowing to French companies like TotalEnergies, Bolloré, and Orange.
The West criticizes African leaders who refuse to bow – like Ibrahim Traoré in Burkina Faso, Assimi Goïta in Mali, and Abdourahamane Tchiani in Niger. They call them dictators. They impose sanctions. They support ECOWAS intervention.
But the West supports dictators who serve Western interests. Paul Biya in Cameroon. Teodoro Obiang in Equatorial Guinea. Paul Kagame in Rwanda (when it suits them). Ali Bongo in Gabon (until he was overthrown).
That's the hypocrisy. The West doesn't care about democracy. They care about control. If you bow to Paris, you can stay in power for 44 years. If you stand up to France, they call you a dictator and try to remove you.
Africa needs its own systems. Not French-approved dictators. Not Western-style democracy that produces Biya and his son. Something African. Something that puts African people first, not French corporations.
The Sahel is showing the way. Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger expelled French troops. They left the CFA franc. They are building their own alliances. Cameroon should watch and learn."

🚨Paul Biya @PR_Paul_BIYA appointed his son Franck Biya as Vice President, a position that was canceled since 1972. Daddy preparing to hand over power to his son as he is nearing his grave. This is the western-style democracy they want you to live.

@RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu Christianity is not an Igbo religious ideology, so be reminded that Igbos are not the only tribe that has Christians amongst them.
Makes me wonder from what perspective are you making your argument, as a Christian, Biafran or Nigerian ?
English

@RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu And your mutually beneficial relationship with America is supporting the atrocities they commit all over the world?
I have to support the bombing of children in Libya, Somalia, Iraq, Iran etc, that way I am seen as a good Christian?
English

@RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu You need to start thinking clearly, and put the Bible down while you do that.
English

@RedRouge_ @AfricanJesu Most of the killings happens in the north, but Nigeria police is planning a military operation in the south east against Ipob/biafra.
Has America shown you any serious indication that they are interested in your sovereignty?
