Happy Holiday Greetings!🇺🇸 So. this weekend, I wished my favorite postal worker by name “Happy Memorial Day.” He repeated it. I wished the sanitation worker, the same. He politely repeated it. I wished a grocery clerk the same. She smiled and repeated it I gave a holiday greeting to a server at a locally owned restaurant. She said “Same to you.” Then I thought could “Happy” be the wrong word? After all, men and women died, so today we could enjoy freedoms. Since a kid we went to the cemetery; then we hit the park for a barbecue feast. I also had to make a batch of homemade ice cream, which required strong arms. So, I am “happy” for the brave legacies of those military men and women. They provided the ultimate heroic acts from a grateful nation. #HappyMemorialDay. And also, thank you all for your service.🇺🇸
