Our limitations are often self-imposed through the stories we tell ourselves. I had been telling myself things I would never say to another person for a long time. I am learning more every day to be the voice I want to hear in my life.

Connection The long time mates of both these penguins passed. Every evening they meet and watch the lights for hours. So incredibly kind 🌺 What can they teach us? - Compassion - Companionship - Showing up counts - ..... What would you add? Origin: National Geographic

Asset allocation is not a set-and-forget strategy. Six common mistakes made by individual investors: 1.Failing to Pay Attention to Investor Risk Capacity: Assess and integrate your financial ability to withstand losses into your investment decisions. 2.Never Adjusting the Asset Mix: Stay responsive to changing asset volatilities and correlations to maintain a balanced and effective portfolio. 3.Misunderstanding Diversification: Fund names do not diversify. Not everything goes up at the same time but protects you on the downside. A hedge usually carries a cost. 4.Overemphasis on Equities: Ensure a well-rounded portfolio by considering the roles of various asset classes, not just stocks. 5.Overlooking Current Starting Valuations: Use valuations as a guide for potential risk and return, adjusting your asset allocation to align with these metrics. 6.Lacking a Contingency Plan: Prepare for both downturns and upswings with a clear strategy to adjust your portfolio as needed. Kids hear all the things said/not said. AND see all the things done/not done. There’s no greater motivation to level up and be your best. I gave Mr 2yr the choice of outing today and he chose “mum and dads gym, I want to ‘ex-size’” Today felt like I’m getting something right

Swimming today, my toddler saw big boys without floaties, so decided he could do without them too. Then he saw mum n dad swimming under water, so decided he could have a go. He was walking on tip toes, splashing, half drowning, swallowing water… but having a blast. Hungry for the challenge. Top inspo for me- a mum and small fish in a big creator pond trying to build a better life. A 2yr old with grit.
