Today marks 50 years since my little sister Laura died. I don’t have many memories of her, but I do remember refusing to smile for the photographer because he made me change my dress. I really hope we’re better at dealing with sibling loss now. @sibling_support @deadsibsociety

Little bit chaotic on arrival @TheCoopLive with some v long queues but it wasn’t raining & they moved fairly quickly. #Elbow were fabulous but aren’t they always! It’s a great new venue, few tiny bits to finish off but the free drink, popcorn & tram travel were a nice touch.

My mum sings with the lovely #skylarks choir & they had a concert today, raising funds for @BrainTumourOrg Hadn't anticipated it would set me off, but I cried literally ALL THE WAY through. It took me back to every school concert & nativity. I just sat & sobbed, Xmas is so hard

Celebrating Christmas a year ago, Laura was starting last ditch radiotherapy as the tumour removed 2 weeks before had already grown back. We had a lovely day, cards & presents from round the world & a fabulous @marksandspencer Xmas dinner. This year will be tough without Laura

This time, 5 yrs ago we took Laura in a taxi to ⁦@NHSHomerton She was v sick & had the worst headache, an⁩ eye test the day before had raised concerns, so she was sent for a CT scan & our lives changed forever Only 5% of people with #GBM live 5 yrs. We miss her so much
