Congratulations to Taylors Elementary teacher Fran Hazard, who received the GCS Miracle Worker Award at Tuesday’s Board of Trustees meeting. Mrs. Hazard is credited with saving the life of a student who choked on their lunch during school. @TaylorsElem

This week, @gvlcoSheriff, local law enforcement and first responders held active shooter training at Taylors ES with more than 300 district/school personnel participating. It’s one of the many ways the district partners with law enforcement to put student and staff safety first.

Congratulations to Amy Kern, the new principal of Tigerville Elementary School. Kern is a seasoned educational leader with more than two decades of experience. Way to go, Mrs. Kern!

GIFTED GROUNDSKEEPER! Taylors Elementary School groundskeeper Brian Reeder truly has a flair for the dramatic. On the weekends, Reeder appears in local stage plays. While at school, he helps students in the theater club develop their acting skills. 😊 @TaylorsElem

.@ClemsonUniv won the Blood Bowl for the 5th year in a row! We collected a record-breaking 4,671 blood donations, impacting 14,013 lives. I’m proud of the impact our students and community continue to make across our state.
