An enriching day yesterday at @USPGglobal Rethinking Mission Conference reflecting on the implications of the Council of Nicaea 325 for Christian unity and witness today. This was followed by the launch of the book 'Lived Mission in 21st Century Britain' published by @SCM_Press

Really please to have a chapter in this book. In it I try to think about ecclesiology of pioneer/fresh expressions starting from the spirituality of a number of missional communities. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the book too. @willfoulger @CMSPioneer @SCM_Press

Two fantastic days of justice and mission. Great to be with fellow Lived in Mission @SCM_Press book chapter authors at @USPGglobal @Southwarkcathed and @onepeople_ea end of year panel and celebration.

It was an honour to write a chapter for this book! I am still sad to have missed the launch but a broken foot scuppered my travel plans...

As I am in the throes of preparing MA units on Missional Theology in Practice and Majority World Perspectives in Mission, the work of Gustavo Gutiérrez appears repeatedly. There is no way to adequately describe the significance of his influence in the field of #PracticalTheology

Moved house over the weekend and spotted a #hedgehog in my garden this evening! I may need to rethink plans for tidying up the largely overgrown garden and make sure I keep an eye out for possible hedgehog homes/hiding places...
