grief never goes away. the loss of someone’s presence simply becomes easier to accept with time. just because you accept this loss, it doesn’t mean it hurts less. things will remind you of them - it’s okay to cry or feel sad no matter how long it’s been.

@ruby_dood1es I’m so sorry you’re going through this ❤️ Wouldn’t wish the consuming heaviness of grief on anyone. I’ve found that people don’t say anything for fear of saying the wrong thing. When in fact you might love a chance to open up & share memories & feelings. Thinking of you today ❤️

Work’s Xmas doo tmrw, I’m not currently in work atm because I’m still struggling along on my new #widow journey of #grief. A bit upset because I haven’t been contacted to see if I’d like to go, not a single message! No one wondering what I’m doing… Extra 💔 at this time of 💔💔

One of my babies didn’t do his homework. No kid should be embarrassed because they lack knowledge. So I tell them to write me notes and I write back. No outbursts, no displays. So he gets credit just for turning it in and letting me know he’s struggling
