For any budding tennis players - Malpas Tennis Club are running some new junior club coaching sessions for high school age groups this Summer Term in addition to Easter Tennis Camps.

CERN Trip 2026 @BishopHeberHS Day 3 Students visited the 'Broken Chair' Sculpture - a protest against land mines. Then a tour of the UN Geneva Office covered the history of the collaboration of 193 member states. Finally, a visit to the Science Museum with 'hands on exhibits'

CERN Trip 2026 @BishopHeberHS Day 2 Students have crossed into France from Switzerland to explore the ALICE experiment and the CERN Control Centre to discover how particle physics is put into practice.

CERN Trip 2026 - 25 @BishopHeberHS⁩ sixth form A-level physics students have spent their first day touring Genèva's old town visiting Alabama House and the Reformation Wall.

Bishop Heber Science Fair is back on Monday 9th March, 4.30pm-7pm in the Sports Hall. We hope to see you there and look forward to all the inventive projects 🧪🧫

To celebrate The National Year of Reading 2026, we are promoting The Portico Library's reading and writing competitions. These are open to all students Years 7-13 and students can choose to enter a piece of creative writing or a book review (or both!).

Students should be commended on demonstrating the high levels of dedication, organisation and commitment needed to complete an EPQ. If any Year 11 students planning to join Heber Sixth Form next year are interested in learning more about the EPQ, they can talk to Mrs Budgen (2/2)

Celebrations were recently held for 27 students in Year 13 who received their Extended Project Qualification results on January 8th. 60% of students achieved a grade A* or A, which is a fantastic achievement, and almost 80% achieved at least a grade B! (1/2)

SCHOOL OPEN (6.1.26). We look forward to seeing all staff and students in school today. The Site team have worked hard yesterday to make the school safe to return to today and the bus companies and food delivery services are expected to all run as normal today. Thank you.

SCHOOL CLOSED (5.1.26) The roads in and around the school haven’t been gritted and are not passable and the Bus companies cannot run their service this morning. Key staff are unable to get on site to open school and we are asking ALL staff + students to work from home today.
