So, having not picked up a brush in 3 years since we moved due to lack of space, I have a studio to paint We have been living in close quarters for so long and space has been a premium, and I am feeling incredibly blessed.

This is one of the pieces I've been working on today, and after having not painted for so long I am spending every waking minute jumping between canvases It's the first time my brain has been actually quiet for years

@visitandtravel Ah ok, that's really interesting - I'm not much into AI use but definitely has its place But you're dead right, far less interaction here now, it's sad, old twitter was such a happy place

The subscription is useful for one thing - it gives you additional access to Grok AI grok.com there is no benefit for the first or second level subscription that I can see - less interaction now than 6 years ago. The most expensive personal subs. at £36 a month may give you more "reach" I have no idea. Again the only reason I would pay that is to use Grok 4 - instead of paying for a separate AI access. Saying that I do not currently use Grok a lot, however it is a lot more flexible than Gemini for image and video generation. It is also an impressive AI for content, not used it seriously for coding.

@donald_i Normally I hit the st Columbas lawn if I've not remembered before I leave the house - but there was a man mowing this morning and I thought I'd take my chances with the bushes instead before he thought I was certifiable - I failed regardless

A sheep eats grass on a Welsh hillside where nothing else will grow. The slope is too steep for a tractor, the soil too thin for a plough, the rainfall too relentless for crops. The environmental alternative is petroleum-based fleece that sheds microplastics into every river, synthetic insulation spun from fossil fuels, and food imported from industrial agriculture that's busy turning prime farmland into dust. But the sheep grazing on a cliff in Snowdonia is the problem. Make it make sense. I'll wait.
