I love(d) #NotebookLM. I'm sure I'll continue to love it now that it's #GeminiNotebook. But as someone who had 5 videos on YouTube covering NotebookLM scheduled to publish in the coming days, this could not have come at a worse time.

If @GeminiApp is connected to your @GoogleWorkspace account, you can create Gems that will output various Google Doc formats whenever you run the Gem. Enjoy.

Gems in Gemini don't handle document production as well as the regular Gemini app does. Here's a workaround. Define a Gem that displays the prompt you want to use, then copy and paste it into the regular Gemini prompt box.

Gemini updates keep getting for teachers who use it...until you realize that Gemini is blocked for students and they won't be able to access much of it.

What did I learn today? "Hey, I've got three Gems that do different parts of what is essentially the same task. Can I easily merge them into one with a well-written definition prompt? No. No I cannot."

Want videos based on your Notebook LM content faster? Select your sources, ask Notebook LM for a storyboard idea based on the sources, generate the video from the storyboard in Google Vids. You'll get a different video, but it is so much faster.

Teachers who know how to use AI for the benefit of their students will have such a huge advantage over those that don't. It won't be fair.

1) Make a slide deck in Notebook LM, which is now editable.
2) Save as a source by downloading as PDF and then uploading.
3) Use Notebook LM to create a script using only the PDF as a source.
4) Copy slide images into Vids to make scenes.
5) Paste script into voiceover.

I'm pretty sure I just discovered an app smash workflow using #NotebookLM and #GoogleVids to create visually stunning videos, all without making a sound. Hint: don't make the video in Notebook LM. Too many hallucinations.
