@lady_valor_07 If the woman is better at her job than the man then she should get paid more and vice versa. If you’re talking sports then if the product they produce yields more revenue then they should be paid accordingly. As of right now, mens sports are more popular so they get paid more

@BernieSanders Funny how so many politicians talk about tax the wealthy, make big business pay more etc, and yet NEVER actually do anything to change the tax code. Brilliant way to stay in office
English

@em_Lazzy He got bailed out by the state. Robbed Peter to pay Paul

@Simi_2210_ Square root of 36 is 6. 36-6 is 30. 30 divided by 6 (already established) is 5. That is the answer. Prove me wrong
English

@WilsonJame97253 @DemzDeliver I’m actually curious. I applaud funding the arts.
English

@HeckeNicholas18 @DemzDeliver the butthurt is clearly visible within you
let it go...you don't live in NYC
English

@greendragonhq You mean balanced the budget by shifting money around? “Hey look, I refilled bucket A” while taking from bucket B
English

You may not like it, but this is the best politician in the world right now.
Within 6 months of being sworn in he has:
• Balanced a massive budget deficit.
• Produced the lowest murder rate in NYC history.
• Introduced a pilot program for free childcare.
• Has collected $100 million in fines from landlords for abhorrent living conditions.
- Lost ZERO billionaires!

@Maddu_550 It’s 3. There are 3 square root equations in here
English

@MuseBaker Sit yo ass down. This list is awful. He is amazing I’m not denying that but to say that he’d be the greatest wr on half of the leagues teams in their franchise history is just a flat out lie
English

@StephenKing Too bad the govt is so deep in debt, bc they have stupid spending
English

@BernieSanders Money was shifted around to make him look good. This isn’t impressive
English

Congratulations to Mayor Mamdani. He inherited a huge budget deficit, brought it down to zero, and still invested in childcare, housing and city infrastructure.
When municipal governments stand with working families, not billionaires, there is nothing they cannot accomplish.
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor
When we came into office, we uncovered a $12 billion budget deficit. Today, I’m proud to say we brought it down to zero. We didn’t close the gap on the backs of working people. We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets and making historic investments in public housing. Call it Pothole Politics. Call it Democratic Socialism. It's government that delivers for the people who make this city run. That’s what New Yorkers deserve. And that’s what we will keep fighting for every single day.

@PeaceTee2021 @mukund Cooking takes less time than going to the restaurant, ordering, waiting for your food, eating then coming home.
English

I rarely eat out.
Maybe once a month. Went yesterday to a restaurant (Italian, Mediterranean) in West Seattle for Mother’s Day last night.
Total for 5 of us ( we don’t drink alcohol) with one salad, humus and 3 vegetarian pastas was $97
The check said 3.5% surcharge for credit card. Then 17% service fee, mandatory.
Then tips were 20% 22% and 25% optional.
I asked if I could pay in cash.
No. They don’t take cash. Then how can I avoid the credit card fee I asked.
You can’t.
So I asked why the service charge.
It pays for the employees they said.
Then why the tip I asked.
It pays for front office staff
I don’t get it.

@Wisconsin_fam I’m sure someone has said fan favorite Jake Kumerow by now

@Symply_rhoda1 Back when people got jobs through resumes, yes it was more important
