@carolvorders @MarinaPurkiss But not the MP with the biggest income, by far. Sunak pocketed some £21m last year. The story here for me is how limited the register on interests is

NEWS “Nigel Farage pockets £97,000 a month instantly making him the highest paid MP” Reform, the company with Farage as majority shareholder, is a party of the people? Give me strength If you haven’t sussed them yet, then give your head a wobble (Cue the gullible trolls🥳) mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

How did the Foreign Office manage to spend £4,333.30 on two trips to the hairdresser? Why has their spending via government procurement cards shot up 45% since last September? And why won’t they answer these and dozens more related questions? Read all about it in my letter:

@soapachu As a human called Hector, can confirm that it's a name people do remember, it doesn't mean I remember anyone's name. Our house is ruled by Reg the cat.

@TheWeekUK We've got an air source heat pump in an extended 30s property with double glazing and decent loft insulation. We've not done the depths of winter in it yet, but so far bills to run reasonable, house warm and plenty of hot water for two. Long term we'll improve insulation.

The President of the USA needs to understand that the NI Protocol is undermining the Good Friday Agreement that he and the U.K. support. He should help us restore GB to NI trade and respect the UK's internal market.

Would you support NHS workers if they had to go out on strike? It looks like we will be left with little choice soon! If you would support us please reply with a 💙. #OurNHS

Cyclists complain about lack of disc brake bikes and they’ll never buy one rim brakes for life etc, so do a video about rim brake bikes you can still buy. And hardly anybody watches it? youtu.be/IFZaYLC44C4

@swats24 Many hospitals have very good bus services, many people can get there without driving. Many have limited parking, charging controls demand. In many cases charging for parking makes perfect sense, maybe limited free parking for those that need it, but that's an admin nightmare.

Paying for parking at the hospital should be banned. People don't want to go there willingly. Make. It. Stop.

@firsthippy @malwinki That is shocking, I'm guessing bad heat treatment. Water normally kills these but that is just duff crap. It's almost like bike bits manufacturers don't care that we use their stuff in good faith to go 100s of km into wild parts of the world, and depend on stuff working reliably.

The ocean floor of the Pacific Ocean will likely be mined for metals needed for EV batteries. This is an ecosystem with species we haven't yet classified, one that we hardly understand. EV's are not a climate solution. They are a symptom of our addiction to cars and car culture.

@mrhifh02 @DMedawatte @katemdavo People in the US pay more for health care than anywhere else in the world, are less healthy and die younger. Yes there is a lifestyle and food industry element to it, but on any international comparison of developed nations US healthcare scores a big fat fail

@DMedawatte @katemdavo Yep. That's why we Americans are so lucky. We have a splendid healthcare system of course at a high premium.
