if u go for the ipad, the software problem actually disappears completely because procreate is the ultimate god-tier app for it :D it honestly has the friendliest and most intuitive ui out of any drawing software imho paint tool sai is only for pc anyway, and while clip studio paint is available on both, i really think all those extra fancy features will just complicate the learning process. in procreate it's so easy to just focus on the actual drawing process, which is the absolute most important part when u are learning! the main power of clip studio is its ui customization and assets like u can drop a 3d human model right onto the canvas and pose it to save time on anatomical construction... which is super convenient later but right now it's honestly just complicated overkill 🤔 so procreate is definitely the best way to go for now!! u will love it

@Hedace oh my god i cannot thank u enough for this u are such a godsend... i did think a non-screen tablet would be a good starting point but also i'm fairly convinced i'm gonna stick with this because i feel super inspired to draw being in this space ;v; i'm gonna take ur recommendation

if any artist mutis have any tablet/software recommendations i'd be very happy to hear,, i don't really have a super strict budget for it since i've been saving up the past few months with this in mind ;v;
