Man United fan Dalot or Mazraoui? Who is the better player overall.

@Granel_Dc @BASHAARUTD @Omoniyiolamioff I remember Dalot facing Saint-Maximin against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup and also Jeremy Doku giving him trouble multiple times on those occasions, Mazraoui clearly edges him in that.

Diogo Dalot offers consistency, durability, and steady defensive improvement, making him the more reliable option week in, week out. Noussair Mazraoui brings higher technical quality, composure on the ball, and more creativity going forward, but with concerns around fitness and defensive solidity. In a Manchester United shirt, I’m picking Diogo Dalot for his reliability, but overall, Noussair Mazraoui is the better player when fit.

@BASHAARUTD @Omoniyiolamioff Backing Dalot isn’t wrong, he’s solid and dependable. But if Mazraoui is in this position, there’s no doubt he’d create and score more. Sometimes Dalot seems to overthink or switch off at key moments.

Why Lewis Hall is a better fit than Myles Lewis Skelly for Manchester United. Both players are Premier League proven, but they profile very differently. Myles Lewis Skelly is essentially a long term midfield project someone who thrives centrally, carries the ball well, and still needs time to fully develop his role and consistency at the highest level. His best qualities are about control and progression in midfield, not immediately solving a specific issue in the starting XI. Lewis Hall, on the other hand, is a much more natural and traditional fit for Manchester United. He plays as a left back with clear attacking instincts, very similar in profile to Luke Shaw comfortable overlapping, stretching the pitch, and delivering quality balls into the box. That’s something United have lacked consistency in, especially when Shaw isn’t available. Another key difference is end product. Hall’s crossing ability stands out, he can consistently create chances from wide areas, which directly benefits attackers. Lewis Skelly, being more central, doesn’t offer that same width or delivery, so his impact is less immediate in terms of chance creation from the flanks. So while Lewis-Skelly may develop into a top midfielder in the future, Hall already fits the system, fills a clear positional need, and brings qualities like width and crossing that United can use straight away

Hall is comfortable operating as a traditional left-back, an inverted full back, or even stepping into midfield during build up. He times his overlaps well, knows when to hold width, and when to tuck inside to support possession. Defensively, his positioning is more refined he tracks runners, maintains shape, and rarely leaves gaps behind him. In pressing systems, he also understands triggers and when to engage or drop off. Lewis-Skelly, on the other hand, is more of a natural midfielder still adapting to hybrid roles. He excels in tight spaces, carries the ball well, and can progress play centrally, but tactically he’s still developing his off ball awareness. His positioning, especially when asked to play deeper or wider roles, isn’t as consistent yet, and he’s still learning defensive spacing and timing. Lewis Hall is ahead now, no debate. Myles Lewis-Skelly has potential, but potential isn’t performance.

@FrankEra_ @CraigHope_DM Good signing. This is exactly what we need to wrap up the deal quickly, just like we did with Matheus Cunha.

The French league has postponed PSG’s match against Lens so they can better prepare and be well rested for their Champions league clash against Liverpool. This can never happen in England or any other serious league. This is why the French league is called the farmers league.

@BASHAARUTD @YesItsBash Calling PSG a farmers league is lazy. The real issue is the intense schedule in the Premier League playing every 2–3 days takes a toll. Plus, players coming from France are already built for physicality, which is why many of them don’t flop here.
