once those early 2010s tweets from Dillon Brooks popped up of him rooting for LeBron I started to change my stance on him. it’s never been hate for Brooks in regards to going at LeBron. dude was genuinely his idol, & he found himself in position to compete at the highest level against his idol. can’t bring that fandom with you on the court, or you’re gonna get destroyed. I respect Brooks for being ultra competitive & honestly bringing out the best in Bron when they’ve matched up. that’s how it’s supposed to be 💯
