@JoanneP06768852 @ForestSchool I really like this and think Australia should really take a good look at it. The potential it has in developing children is amazing!

How does getting healthy while raising money for charity sound? This skipping program helps primary school students move more and have fun doing it. Also raise funds for heart research, patient support and programs that help save lives. #uonteach #educ4750 #SDG3

@heartfoundation's Jump Rope for Heart is a great initiative that promotes healthy behaviours for students in primary school. I love that the 'Parent FAQs' section of the website educates parents on the benefits of skipping. #SDG3 #UonTeach #Educ4750 jumprope.org.au

For children vegetables are not a food group that is brought up a lot or liked much at all. If only these children knew of the health benefits that come with eating vegetables. This could easily be incorporated into a school by growing them yourselves! #UoNTeach #Educ4750 #SDG3

Aussies are not eating enough veggies. Only 4% eat the recommended amount of veg a day! This week for National Nutrition Week we’re aiming to #Tryfor5! Check out the @NutritionAust-website for tips & healthy FEAST recipes - kids can love veggies too! 🥕tryfor5.org.au/encouraging-ch…

I really like this healthy canteen idea. Kids will learn that there are very nice healthy foods that provide great energy and concentration. They can then use this knowledge throughout their healthier lives. #UoNTeach #educ4750 #SDG3

@sarah_aggett @sarah_aggett, Excellent idea about limiting the 'bad' foods that are available to students within the canteen. Do you know about the NSW governments "Healthy School Canteens" strategy. #Do0" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">education.nsw.gov.au/student-wellbe… #UoNTeach #Educ4750

When I've been looking at gardening and spending time nurturing things for mental health, I didn't consider the equity of some students not having gardening space at home. Here is an amazing way of getting past that through gardening containers! #UoNTeach #SDG3 #Educ4750

@missmuch3 @BehindTheNews Wow, I didn't know we send so much to land fill! We need to teach our kids to swap unwanted clothing, donate clothes to charities, and not just throw it in the bin

@missmuch3 Love this idea. No need to constantly use plastic wrapping that we just throw away after using. These beeswax wraps can be used over and over again
