Rewatched "The Incredibles" a few days ago and Syndrome's zero point energy effect inspired me to try something similar out in #GodotEngine

@Stansted_Exp Where are those updates? Should I take an uber, should I wait????? Saying there’s a delay is not an update

@gr0ud I don’t think it’s a good idea to do this- I like signals being all together, it’s like a logical workflow unit to me, inspector is for editing properties; mashing these 2 together makes both, properties and signals, less readable

I've just opened a Godot proposal about moving the signals from the Node dock to the Inspector. Please tell me what you think about the idea. (link in comments)

@GopherDevNSFW @ScottTRichmond For now mobile support is missing, but when I talk about tight integration I mostly refer to the speed of development- no waiting to compile, hot reload in editor and on device, syntactic sugar and generally just less code

People coming from #unity to #GodotEngine - I know you love C#, but don’t overlook GDScript, it’s very on point, tightly integrated and very easy to pick up; iterating is insanely fast

@UnclePeyj GDScript is slower than C#, but do you even need ALL the power- I’ve done a city builder simulation game with traffic system and whatnot, basically a huge amount of “entities” processing stuff every frame and everything has always been butter smooth on crappy android devices

@ScottTRichmond You just can’t have that- GDScript is purpose built, C# is generic

@HeightCalling C# really needs to have the same level of integration though. There is no reason it shouldn't.
