An MXGP team was shown a budget to run an official EMX250 squad for '24. This team said that their budget would be more than enough to run two riders in MXGP at all of the rounds. This is proof that EMX detracts from the main show, no?

Looking at the options that remain, as well as the entry list, it is my opinion that USA should put Hampshire in MX2 (it is the deepest class and he could win it) then Craig in Open. Open is the weakest class and Craig could pull one solid result, even if he is not 100%.

For the record, I have offered my services for MXdN and I’ve also offered to pay my own way with good equipment. I may not win but at this point it’s about getting a team to the race and showing we have the pride to at least be there.

The thing that is most interesting now is what do MDK and others do about fill-in riders. Big fines on the line, if they do not field four guys, but getting riders was already tricky. Interested to see who they can chase. Speaking of riders, having Roczen and Tomac was huge.
