Completely forgot that a month ago it was our 6 year #theustunlab anniversary. From Tübingen @ZMBP_Tuebingen to Bochum @ruhrunibochum we had many precious, unforgettable but also difficult moments. I‘m very thankful for all the memories, let‘s see what the future brings 🥳

So she was first author on his key paper - in fact she's on most of his key papers, yet she didn't get the Nobel Prize, in spite of the fact they could have given 3 awards, not just 2. Explain to me how STEM is not institutionally sexist.

@roulinlab @metabevo Agreed! But it‘s also problematic to consider starting date if you have a supervisor that won‘t let you defend. But I also struggle with the academic age calculations.

I still do not understand why the ERC StG and CoG cut-off dates are determined according to the PhD defence rather than the start of the PhD.

Imagine leaving for a week for a symposium to come back to the driest plants in the world - and then try not to feel isolated where you are. I will have this PhD degree not thanks to, but in spite of studying here and now. Challenge accepted.
