I gave a keynoye talk today at @heimtextil in Frankfurt on the use of AI in textile design. While here, I spoke with the leading publishers of textile design software to ask what plans they had to integrate AI into their products. Their answer was "none". Why? "We would get too much pushback from users afraid of AI taking their jobs". I bet this isn't restricted to only the textile industry.
