Looking for a Cardinal who had the right stuff? Cardinal George was a man of authenticity and integrity, truly pastoral and holy, a clear and articulate teacher of the Faith. And he’s as much needed now as when he was with us. I invite you to encounter him in “Glorifying Christ.”

Both the Vatican nunciature (its embassy) and the Pentagon confirmed to @OSVNews a meeting took place. But the Pentagon disputed the characterization of the meeting in some media reports, while the nunciature did not offer specifics about topics or tone: osvnews.com/pentagon-dispu…

"During that time, we received discouraging news: a negative pregnancy test. After a long and complex process, the result seemed clear and final. We were heartbroken. The possibility that our desire to raise children might not be realized suddenly felt very real." And which one of the "husbands" was "pregnant" and unable to conceive? Asking for a friend who is a biologist. But, seriously, what Jim Martin and Co. are promoting and propagandizing in this and other pieces is blatantly contrary to moral truth and natural law. It is scandalous. Many times over.

For one gay couple, baptizing their children was not an act of certainty, but of “Christian hope.” Daniel Castillo Vaughn writes that through the journey of his children’s baptism, he came to see the sacraments as the means of drawing closer to God. outreach.faith/2026/04/why-on…

The devil once came to St. Teresa of Jesus, as she told the story, disguised as the Risen Christ. But she immediately rejected him. Before he left, though, he asked how she knew. She answered: “Because you have no wounds.”

"The Church speaks, in moral and doctrinal issues, a philosophical and theological language in a society that understands, at best, only psychological and political terms." -Francis Cardinal George Half the media coverage of the 2026 convert class reminds me of this quote

“Miracles are the world as God wants it to be, as it will be, when Christ returns in glory. But in order to get there with him, you have to embrace the cross, you have to be with him, to sit at the foot of the cross.” —Cardinal Francis E. George, O.M.I.

From Fulton Sheen’s last Good Friday sermon: “Show me your hands. Have you a scar from giving? A scar of sacrificing yourself for another? Show me your feet. Have you gone about doing good? Were you wounded in service? Show me your heart. Have you left a place for divine love?”

To whom does space belong? As NASA's Artemis II launched tonight, the Vatican's Caritas in Veritate Foundation is reminding the world that "space must remain a common good, with clear legal norms and a sense of responsibility toward all humanity and future generations." God bless the Artemis II team and prayers for a safe journey! #NASA #Artemis
