Sadly, we have had no offers to foster Sasha, a fifteen year old Shar–Pei X. A change in her owner’s circumstances has meant poor Sasha’s world has been turned upside down in recent times. We are looking for a long-term foster placement for Sasha, so any equipment and food can be provided and Sasha’s medical bills will be covered by the Sanctuary. Sasha is described as a loyal companion, very affectionate and intelligent. Sasha loves company, walks nicely on her lead and travels well. She would like to be the only dog in the house but generally ignores other dogs when out and about. We would hate for Sasha to be in a kennel at her age, it simply would not be fair. Goober is blind 😞 We spotted this boy at the other shelter last night and he came as an extra because last minute we could see he was blind. That’s been confirmed today at the vets. He has Progressive retinal atrophy. A shelter is no place for a blind worried boy so let’s share and get him a wonderful home please. He’s 5yrs old … please please, let’s get him a home 🏠🩷🙏
