@GBNEWS You can only claim additional benefits for children aged 18 if they are still at sixth form or college working towards A levels or level 3 courses. It stops at the end of August. So this parent will only receive extra money from the lifting of the 2 child cap for a limited time!

@WeirdBristol I worked there for a while as a temporary job when I was a student. Washing up equipment that sort of thing. Courage Brewery. They employed some people whose role was to test the beer by drinking it. Now that was a good job if you like beer!

Until 1999 there had been a working brewery at this site near Bristol Bridge for almost 300 years The first brewery was opened in 1702 and the central building (in this photograph) was constructed in 1750. 1/2

@GBNEWS I really don't agree with this. Very few 16 or 17 years in full-time work these days and how do you stop indoctrination by teachers or peer pressure / bullying if you vote in a way that's "against the crowd".

@DrVoles Your cleaner will be self-employed and sort out own tax, national insurance etc. Your cleaner will have to make their own pension arrangements and will not receive a generous state funded package on topc of a state pension.

I'm not a Resident Doctor. I am privileged enough to pay for a cleaner. I pay my cleaner £25 per hour. Resident Doctors are asking for less than that. My cleaner makes my house smell nice. A Resident Doctor will save your life. #Strikehard

@MoneySavingExp Depends on whether you end up in a smaller room or if the owner gives a discount if a property that sleeps 4 is only occupied by 3 people.
