What better way is there to show that certain journals accept unreasonable & unethical arguments than by sending them some & having them accepted? We're absolutely in good faith in thinking this is a problem & wanting to show it to be one.

@HPluckrose @1littleBIGMOUTH @rasmansa @AreoMagazine I mean, what spells „good faith“ about unironically proffering your team’s retracted fake papers as support for how a legitimate term has been understood? The mind boggles, frankly.

This is a defining feature of "grievance studies" and I guess intersectionality according to an article published in @AreoMagazine. This type of stuff is so sad.

@Katja_Thieme @HPluckrose @1littleBIGMOUTH @rasmansa @AreoMagazine They didn't retract it because they realised the problem with the papers we cited to be able to make the awful argument we did. That would've been great but no. They retracted because they learnt we didn't think our argument reasonable or ethical. They still do.

You don’t think it’s a bit weird to tout that as refs that intersectionality means „the more victim identities you can stack up, the more they intersect to make you more virtuous“?
