This week I attended the @CatsProtection event in parliament, & heard about their work improving the welfare of cats across the UK. As a cat lover I’m keen to see the Gov do more. In the balance of interest (& in true Lib Dem fence sitting style) I would note I also love dogs.

Today's investment summit a good idea, but why is @LabourUK not nearer to the #EU single market it is a key measure to encouraging investment & growth. Our closest market is on our doorstep. Being part of it again would really kick-start investment. That is @LibDems approach.

We need to fix our broken relationship with Europe. The Liberal Democrats are committed to a better deal for Britain. It starts with moving towards the single market, and supporting a youth mobility scheme that gives young people the freedom to work and travel across Europe.
