In Iqaluit today, we visited the site of a new multi-unit housing development already underway through Build Canada Homes. This project will deliver 46 new public housing homes, part of a broader effort to support communities across Nunavut and address the urgent need for housing in the North. Through our partnership with the Government of Nunavut and Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated, we are working to deliver up to 750 homes across the territory - creating stability for families and strengthening communities.

Prime Minister Carney visited Norway to strengthen cooperation with trusted Nordic partners to bolster Arctic and transatlantic security. In London, he progressed Canada-UK defence, trade, and economic partnerships – turning shared priorities into opportunities for Canadians.
