@decka1969 100%. couple of seasons ago season ticket holders got priority tickets not fair I know but the amount of times my 14 yo got tickets for his mates next to us of near us not a chance now. Shame. The club needs to think of the young uns.

Sat in Leazes yesterday next to a young lad who was on his own. His mates were in level 7 on their own dotted around. He was singing under his breath every song. I said howay lad lets get some volume going and we sang the whole game. He should have been with his mates /1

@CharIieBennett My brother, a Newcastle fan, was there but he was in the Kop with his friend who was a Liverpool fan. Said he had to sit on his hands the whole time!

@NUFCLC It was best when season ticket holders got priority for tickets for sale. Was always getting them for friends and family always local and often my son would have his mates next to him going mental. It’s not the fairest way I know but was the best crowds

Btw, today is the final straw. Kills me to say it, but I have warmed now to a new stadium because our fans haven’t shown the owners what’s special about SJP and what it represents. We might as well make some money. Another game where away fans have took the piss all game. #NUFC

Ipswich has got to be up there as one of the best away days I’ve been on. Great away pub (with the quickest service I’ve ever seen), short walk to the ground from the train station, proper stadium and fans were sound. Hope they stay up so I can go again next year. #NUFC #ITFC

@TherealNihal It’s a complex issue. What you’ll find is those already there will find the money, however the entry numbers at year 7 will drop and also the exits will happen after year 11. Or people may choose just yr 9-13. The 20% VAT is on top of 3 yrs of 8-10% rises ie 15k to £20k in 3 yrs.

Are there enough school places in state schools for parents who have just about enough money to privately educate their children and now will have to move their children into the state sector?

@markenello You’ll be fine Mark I’m sure you’ll look back and realise what opportunities lay ahead that you don’t know about right now. Don’t take it personally. Happened to me twice. Once I knew it was coming, once out the blue. The latter was better but still will take time to process.

I'm approaching 52 and just found out I'm going to be made redundant for the 1st time, totally out of the blue. I'm not sure what I'm expecting off here, but feel better for getting it out there, feels a bit embarrassing if I'm honest 😢
