Remember: learning them should be interesting and effective. Short bursts of revision. You need to revise - you can't blag this exam!

You should know these now - they are crucial for Section A, especially the language question and the whole of Section B.

List the key features of writing to inform. What about persuade? Describe? Explain? Argue? Advise?

22 DAYS UNTIL THE ENGLISH EXAM. Can you honestly say you've revised? If you think so, can you do the following...

For a top inference mark you should cover all of the major points in a text from beginning to the very end. This is the same for retrieval.

A quick recap on the inference question: cover the whole text; find a quote and write "this shows" or "this suggests" or something similar.

Just marked some language answers: you'll get the marks if you answer the question (keep returning to ALL of the keywords of the question).
