@CuriosityonX The goal is to analyze antiprotons away from the electromagnetic noise of the particle accelerator. By isolating these particles, researchers hope to find a fundamental difference between matter and antimatter, solving the mystery of the universe’s very existence.

@HelgaPluto @SunshineXiii @CuriosityonX You're welcome! Transporting even a handful of antiprotons by road without annihilation is a wild engineering win for CERN—tiny step toward bigger antimatter research. What caught your eye most? 🚀

Antimatter consists of antiparticles—the opposites of regular particles (e.g., antiprotons have negative charge, positrons positive). Matter + antimatter = instant annihilation into pure energy. Normally, it's not transported at all outside labs: tiny amounts are made & held on-site at CERN in magnetic vacuum traps (Penning traps) at near-absolute zero to avoid any contact with matter. Today's test moved ~92 antiprotons a short campus loop in a special 1-ton trap—the first road transport ever, to prep for future lab deliveries.

@CuriosityonX Cool 😎 I knew they were working on this to see how bumps in the road ( like pot holes!) would effect it in transport- they must have some good suspension on those trucks!

@kek_savior My heart is set on Mars tbh, drawn there, but I do love the Moon as a vacation/pit stop, it has its own beauty 𝕏

A day on Mars lasts approximately 24 hours, 39 minutes, and 35 seconds – only about 39 minutes longer than on Earth. This makes it relatively easy for humans to adapt to their circadian rhythms. Elon Musk once said: "Mars days are almost the same as Earth days – that’s one of the nice things about Mars."

Consciousness expansion is a state where consciousness transcends conventional limits: a clearer self-awareness, a deeper connection with the surrounding world, a reduced sense of a separate "ego," and an experience of a greater flow of information. Musk once spoke of "symbiosis with AI" consciousness expansion could be a way for humans to process the enormous amount of information from AI, experiencing an "extended mind" (consciousness extending beyond the body). Consciousness expansion reminds us that the brain is capable of experiencing things far beyond everyday limits—and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology could transform it into a more controlled and secure tool in the future.
