@HeliumExe We haven't abandoned it, we just want to take the proper time with it. Also, I don't have a Steam Deck so it's very hard for me to test and fix its issues.

@Overlord_Manga Vergil never flew in the games.
He jumped really high a few times? But never really flew.
As for DMC5 references, they're... references. Lines, actions, and even memes pulled from the latest game to engage with newer fans, while older fans appreciate Dante flipping a coin.

Stage Transition theory.
After a stage transition you get a "Positive Bonus" to your boost meter for 10+ Seconds. In that time the regen is aggressively building up so you get tons of EX moves in your combo.

@bum163 @InvincibleVS neutral and use of meter and mind games with tag is cool to me. When playing the beta I had a couple matches where neutral was genuinely fun to me just trying to space properly and get that hit. Everything you said I agree for this game to do well for long term.

My main issues with @InvincibleVS
1. Sudden Death: Absolutely needs adjusting or a complete overhaul.
In no way should I have 3 characters with full health vs my opponent with 1 character with full health turn into a Sudden Death with both of us having one character with one life bar that has full health.
I completely disagree with this.
I think it should be one character with 3 life bars or whatever remaining health they have vs the opponent and their remaining life bar on their side.
If not....just make it that they must have the same exact health for the sudden death to happen and then have the life bar drain till someone dies.
2. Solo character combo length: I think combos for point characters need to be longer, especially with the damage nerfs applied to this version of the game.
If not...it will lead into issue #1 and I know people already dislike Sudden Death and how it works.
I was thinking maybe make dash cancels cost 0.5 meter and maybe have it that launchers/knock down attacks don't raise the combo meter that high.
Of course this is early impressions and it's subject to change with more time with the game.
Just wanted to give my initial thoughts on the game.
I think the game's neutral might be OD all the way up to the hit....but appeal might decline when the hit is establish due to how short and unappealing combos are outside of like tag combos.
We will see very soon and I'm definitely hype for the starting phase of this game.

@bum163 Oof that's been my main concern is combos. I don't understand why this and tokon opt for a combo meter. I get touched or open on defense it's my fault I'll do better. The flashiness of combos from games like mvc is what made me start playing fighting games and watching tournament

This version of the game is definitely better than the open beta.....but
I notice that the damage output is even lowered than the open beta [Which is great to me]
But the Combo length is still the same [Which is really short still].
To me...tag fighters usually have long combo routes that are not only damaging and help to build meter....
But have a lot of flash and appeal to them as well.
I do hope for that to change 🙏

I do have a suggestion....
Can we also please make a M+H Marco for people to dash and/or just have different Marcos and be able to switch it up?
This will help out with people that dont like using L+M to dash such as myself.
[Also reduce the ex moves into ex moves damage and extend combos just a bit more in general so we can have cool combos and sauce!!!]

@robinemimimmi How is this idea stupid? It insensitives approach instead of just zoning out the whole game plus the person zoning had less health in any other fighting game the zoner would have still lost due to time out.
