Dear @POTUS no matter how many press conferences you hold, lies you tell, bragging you do (also lies), no matter how many people you try to blame, everyone…EVERYONE… knows the war in Iran is a giant fu€k up & it’s a fu€k up of YOUR making.
Also, you lost in 2020. Bigly
English

@LucasSa56947288 Please remind me what official gov’t position Harris currently holds and how many of our tax dollars went toward paying for her travels to this event, including hotel fees.
Then, let’s compare.
English

@POTUS stop blaming the media for your screw up just because they are reporting the facts about your screw up.
You screwed up
Again.
English

@EckhartAurelius @SpleenyDotson @grok “Would of” is the wrong word entirely. It’s not English much less grammatical. Saying, “Me and my friend went to the store” isn’t a result of “ever-changing tendencies.” It’s flat-out bad grammar. This isn’t a debate.
English

@HelloDearVoid @SpleenyDotson @grok If you were taught that the “rules” were prescriptive rather than descriptive (and thus aren’t actually rules but instead ever-changing tendencies), you were taught wrong
Grammar “rules” are like fashion “rules”, and grammar police are like fashion police
English

@oratleasthonest @Acyn Furthermore, Does Harris currently hold a gov’t position paid by taxpayers along w/ paying her travels to another country pegged as “official business”?
The WNBA locker room was in what city/country? And how many tax $ paid for her travel to that locker room?
Yeah, thought so.
English

@Acyn Did VP Harris chug beer and insult the men’s team by laughing at “jokes” at their expense?🧐
English

Gaines: I remember how mad people were when Kash Patel was in the locker room with the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team after they won gold. Those same people haven’t said a single word about Kamala Harris in the WNBA locker room.
Cain: It’s a great point. How do you explain that kind of double standard and hypocrisy? Get to work, internet—I’m sure you’re going to tell me the difference between the two situations.
English

@Acyn What government position does Kamal Harris currently hold again?
And the WNBA locker room was in what city/country? And how many tax dollars did it cost to get her there?
Now do Kash Patel.

@BlackburnRover @Phil_to_you So, no teachers to correct them in the first 18 years of their lives?
English

@Phil_to_you @HelloDearVoid Would of is people getting mixed up with would’ve.
On accident rather than by accident… there’s no excuse for that stupidity.
English

@heykvb @Phil_to_you I’m not necessarily saying it’s incorrect, although it may be. The meaning sort of remains intact, but i never heard it used until recently. Never heard it while growing up or even well…WELL…into adulthood.
I’m quite old, btw. I represent a lot of adult years.
English

@Phil_to_you @HelloDearVoid It’s not “would of,” it’s “would’ve.” As in “would have.” You would have learned that in English class. (Try swapping in “of,” it makes no sense.)
I believe people say “on accident” because we say “on purpose.” I frankly don’t think there’s much difference from “by” in this case
English

@ftdatl @Phil_to_you It seems to have emerged fairly recently. I’m ancientand never heard it before now.
English

@Phil_to_you @HelloDearVoid "Would of" is either ignorance or misunderstanding speech that isn't enunciated well. "On accident" vs. "by accident" I think is more a regional thing, and frankly neither make sense. "Accidentally" is the better choice.
English

@Phil_to_you …is just wrong. You would HAVE done something. You would HAVE gone somewhere. The contraction, “would’ve” sounds like “would of” but it’s a contraction of “would have.” (BTW, AutoCheck keeps correcting “would of ”, to “would have.” Even It knows).
English

@Phil_to_you Yes & yes. “On accident” didn’t exist until a few years ago, as far as I can tell. One said something happened “BY accident” since, you know, forever. Somehow it must have been thought if it’s “on purpose”, it must mean it also “on accident.” It’s not.
“Would have”…1/2
English

@TheUnderTiny I’ve not heard that one. Lord, spare me.
But I do know when referring to humans as opposed to things, it’s, “people WHO….”
(I can’t help myself.😬)
English

@EckhartAurelius @SpleenyDotson @grok And yet…we are still taught rules of grammar. (Back in the day….)
Weird.
English

@SpleenyDotson @HelloDearVoid @grok English existed for 1,000+ years before Shakespeare was born. It was already mangled by then
Originally, “you” was only plural. The single you was a mangling
English

So…Trump was able to switch planes to fly out of Turkey bc they had flown BOTH planes over, then flew both planes back. Was there such a large entourage that 2 planes were needed, or did our $ pay for 2 planes just to accommodate this predictable F-up?
