Roblox’s IP-based alt account detection is straight-up broken and mass-banning innocent players on school/college WiFi. One banned account (even from years ago) can wipe out hundreds or thousands of unrelated players who just share the same public IP. Here’s why: >most networks use NAT. >Your device gets a private IP, but Roblox only sees one shared public IP for the entire WiFi (dorms, airports, coffee shops, schools). >CG-NAT in Europe/Asia makes it even worse. The fix is simple: IPv6. Every device gets its own unique global address. No more false “alt account” flags from shared networks. Roblox still doesn’t support IPv6. They have to add it NOW. Thousands of players are losing accounts daily for literally doing nothing wrong. Roblox has to fix this issue!! But I think they won't anytime soon...

Roblox age-verification is getting wild: A mom and her 7-year-old join the same chat. They can't message each other. Here's the Roblox age-verification: > Face scan sorts players by age > Cross-age messages get blocked > AI generates summaries instead > Parents see summaries of their kid's words, not actual messages You can sit next to your child and still can't talk to them in-game. You have to ask for your parents permission to receive Robux everytime. I get that Roblox is trying to protect kids. But imagine being 17+ ...old enough to drive... and still needing your parents just to receive Robux. Roblox lost 20 million daily users since it started demanding facial scans and ID uploads to access basic features Is this protection or overreach?

To publish a game to All Ages (including the new Roblox Kids & Select accounts for under 16), you now need: >ID verification >2FA enabled >an active Roblox Plus subscription >AND pass a brand new per-game evaluation process. They say it’s for “safety”… but this is the same safety push that’s now slapping a monthly paywall and government ID requirement on creators just to reach kids. Small devs, hobbyists, and young creators are getting locked out. Privacy risks, paywalls, and slower discovery = fewer games and less growth for everyone.

Roblox is mass-banning kids who use school WiFi. If anyone ELSE on the same WiFi ever got banned, even years ago, Roblox AI flags YOUR account as ban evasion and locks it. You did nothing. The system just sees the WiFi. Every kid who plays Roblox at school is one classmate's banned account away from losing theirs. Roblox has to fix this issue!!!

Roblox AI moderation just banned a verified college student because her account got linked to a random stranger she's never met. It's another tough he-said/she-said situation.... Legally and ethically, consent has to be freely given in the moment. Consent can be withdraw at any point.
