The point is to not male it a class activity where kids without moms or kids with trauma are forced to make cards for someone who hurt them or isn't there.

When the biological mother is absent, someone is there loving them. Be it a father, aunt, grandmother, stepmother etc. This is a day for the children to show their appreciation.

@abby4thepeople Idk I recently had a 4 day long fever (about 100-102° consistently) and my covid test was normal, and it responded to otc cold medication 🤷♂️ could just be a cold, might as well ask. Ig I just don't see the issue as long as the kid stays home and is relatively okay.
